Obrion Framed Marble Table Lamp - Brass & Black

The Obrion is a 630mm table lamp built around a solid black marble block held within a brushed brass rectangular frame, topped with a white drum shade and finished with a brass finial. The marble shows pronounced grey and white veining running horizontally across the stone, with each block cut from a different section so the patterning varies between individual lamps. A single E27 lamp socket sits beneath the shade.

Designed for console tables, sideboards, bedside tables and living-room lamp tables, the Obrion suits rooms where a sculptural lamp needs to hold its own without dominating. The 380mm length and 250mm depth give a stable footprint on standard 300-400mm-deep console tables, while the 630mm overall height keeps the shade at a comfortable level for seated reading next to a sofa or armchair. The E27 socket accepts standard screw-fitting bulbs (sold separately).

The brass frame uses a Greek-key style cut-out at the upper corners, breaking the rectangle and adding a graphic detail that lifts the lamp away from a purely minimal silhouette. The white PVC drum shade is cylindrical with crisp edges, reflecting light evenly downwards onto the surface below and upwards onto the wall behind. Brass detailing on the stem, base plate and finial ties the metalwork together as a single material run from base to finial.

What bulb does it take?

The Obrion takes a single standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K pairs well with the brass and white shade for ambient or bedside reading light.

Does the marble vary between lamps?

Yes. Each block is cut from natural marble, so the veining pattern, density and tonal balance differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and means no two Obrion lamps look identical.

What surfaces does it suit?

The 380mm x 250mm footprint sits comfortably on console tables, sideboards and lamp tables of 300mm depth or more. The 630mm overall height places the shade at a useful level for reading next to a sofa or armchair, or for ambient bedside light on a taller bedside table.

How is the marble cleaned?

Wipe the marble with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Avoid acidic cleaners, household sprays and polishes, as marble is porous and can stain or etch.
