Description
The Nyxara is a 310mm-tall alabaster table lamp built around two horizontally stacked discs of natural Spanish alabaster, separated by a short ribbed brass section and supported on a ribbed brass column. A domed brass cap finishes the top, and an integrated LED concealed within the structure casts warm 3000K light outwards through the gap between the two stone discs.
Designed as a compact accent lamp, the Nyxara suits bedside tables, console tables, sideboards and shelving where a 280mm diameter footprint fits comfortably. The light it produces is soft and ambient rather than directional, making it better suited to atmospheric and secondary lighting than to reading or task use. The integrated LED removes the need to source or replace a bulb.
Each alabaster disc is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, mineral patterning and tonal variation differ between individual lamps. When lit, the stone reveals its natural translucency and the warm light grazes outwards from the central gap, picking up the texture of the ribbed brass column below. The brass is finished with a fine horizontal ribbing that catches light along its length, contrasting with the smooth flat planes of the alabaster above.
At 310mm high and 280mm in diameter, the Nyxara reads as a small sculptural object on a surface rather than a tall lamp, and pairs well with contemporary, art deco-influenced and warm-toned interiors. The circular brass base mirrors the geometry of the discs above, giving the composition a clear vertical rhythm.

Frequently Asked
Does the Nyxara come with a bulb?
The light source is an integrated LED built into the lamp, so there is no separate bulb to source or replace. It runs on standard UK 230V mains and outputs warm 3000K light.
Is the Nyxara suitable for reading?
The lamp is designed as ambient and accent lighting rather than task lighting. The light diffuses outwards through the gap between the two alabaster discs, producing a soft glow rather than directional light, so it works better as bedside or sideboard atmosphere lighting than as a reading lamp.
Will each lamp look the same?
The discs are cut from natural Spanish alabaster, which means veining, tonal variation and mineral patterning differ between individual pieces. This natural variation is a feature of the material rather than a defect.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Wipe the stone with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Alabaster is porous and softer than marble, so avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water can be used, but do not soak the stone.
