The Nur Blanco XL is a 1.84m sculptural floor lamp built around a continuous ribbon of brown oxide metal that spirals from a circular base upward through two flowing curves, with frosted white polycarbonate diffusers integrated into the curves. The integrated 20W LED runs the length of the ribbon, producing 1800 lumens at 2800K warm white through the frosted diffuser panels.

Designed for living rooms, reading corners and open-plan areas where both ambient and feature lighting are needed, the Nur Blanco XL provides indirect illumination through the two curved diffuser sections rather than a direct downward beam. The inline floor dimmer allows brightness to be adjusted from full 1800 lumens down to a low glow without wall switches or smart bulb setup. The 450mm circular footprint keeps the base compact relative to the height, making it suitable for placement next to sofas, armchairs or in corners where vertical space is available.

The brown oxide finish on the metal frame sits somewhere between dark bronze and charcoal, with a low-sheen surface that absorbs reflections rather than creating highlights. How is the lamp dimmed?

The Nur Blanco XL includes an inline floor dimmer on the mains cable, allowing brightness adjustment without needing a wall dimmer switch or smart bulb setup. The dimmer is a rotary dial positioned on the cable approximately 500mm from the base.

What is the difference between 2800K and 3000K?

2800K produces a warmer, more amber-toned light compared to the standard 3000K warm white. The lower colour temperature leans further into gold and orange tones, similar to traditional tungsten filament bulbs, and suits evening lighting where a cosier atmosphere is preferred over neutral white.

Is it stable on carpets?

The 450mm circular base and 2.21kg weight provide stability on hard floors and short-to-medium pile carpets. On thick shag or deep-pile rugs the base may sink slightly, reducing stability. If using on deep carpet, position the lamp where the base sits as flat as possible.
