Description

The Nubian pairs a tapered metal base with a wide conical shade, both finished in matt black. The shade opens downward, so light from the recommended bulb falls softly onto the surface below and creates a warm pool of illumination. Standing 40cm tall with a Ø 16cm footprint, it holds a clear, modern shape that reads as an object in its own right, on or off.

It works well on a bedside table, sideboard or living room console, casting a cosy glow rather than flooding a whole room. The downward direction suits reading corners and relaxed evening lighting.

The body and shade are made of metal for a solid feel, weighing 1.2 kg. A cord switch on the cable makes it simple to turn on and off. It takes one E27 bulb, which is not included; a 7W LED giving 806 lumens in 2700K warm white is recommended. Rated IP20, the Nubian is for indoor use. Wipe the metal with a soft, dry cloth to keep the finish clean.
