Description

The NU-X WAC-001 is a daisy-chain cable that lets you run up to four effect pedals from a single power adaptor. It uses a DC5521 jack socket at one end and splits out to four DC5521 jack plugs, so you can feed a small board without needing a separate supply for each pedal. If you are tidying up your setup or just getting started, this is a simple way to keep your power routing under control.

The cable measures 1100mm overall, with 270mm between each plug. That spacing gives you room to reach pedals set out in a row while keeping slack to a minimum. The connectors are the standard 5.5 x 2.1mm DC jack size (sometimes called a barrel connector in the US), which fits the power input on most common pedals. At just 45g, it adds next to nothing to your gig bag or case.

Before you plug in, it is worth checking the current draw of your pedals against the rating of your power adaptor. A daisy chain shares one supply across all connected pedals, so the total draw needs to stay within what your adaptor can deliver.
