Description
The NU-X Verb Core Deluxe puts eight different reverb types into a single compact stomp box. You get a spread of classic and contemporary sounds to choose from: Room, Hall, Plate, Damp, Shim, Spring, Tre-verb and Mod-verb. Each type gives you Decay, Level and Tweak controls, with the Tweak knob adjusting a different parameter depending on which reverb you've selected, so there's plenty to work with from just three dials.
The pedal runs in mono or full stereo, so it fits whether you're using a single amp or a wider rig. You can set it to true bypass or buffered operation with reverb tails, and there's a kill dry function on hand too. The dry signal follows an all-analog path, keeping things clean and helping to avoid unwanted noise. Internally it processes at 48kHz, 24-bit with a dynamic range of 104dB. Holding the footswitch triggers a freeze function, letting you sustain a wash of reverb underneath your playing.
Inputs and outputs are on 6.3mm mono jacks for both left and right, and a USB-C port lets you update the firmware as new features arrive. Input impedance is 1M ohm with output impedance at 1k ohm. It needs a suitable 9Vdc power adaptor (pin-negative, DC5521 jack), which isn't included, and draws under 120mA. The unit measures 122 x 72 x 47mm and weighs 270g, so it sits neatly on a crowded pedal board. If you need a reliable reverb pedal with room to shape the sound, this one covers a lot of ground.

Frequently Asked
How many reverb types does it have?
Eight: Room, Hall, Plate, Damp, Shim, Spring, Tre-verb and Mod-verb. Each has adjustable Decay, Level and Tweak controls.
Can I use it in stereo?
Yes. It runs in mono or full stereo, with left and right 6.3mm mono jacks on both the inputs and outputs.
Does it come with a power supply?
No. It requires a suitable 9Vdc pin-negative adaptor with a DC5521 jack, sold separately, and draws under 120mA.
What is the freeze function?
Holding the footswitch triggers a freeze, letting you sustain a continuous reverb wash while you keep playing over it.
Can I choose between true bypass and buffered?
Yes. You can set true bypass or buffered operation with reverb tails, and there's also a kill dry function.
How can I update the pedal?
There's a USB-C port on the unit for firmware updates, so you can add new features as they become available.
