Description

The NU-X Time Core Deluxe mkII is the next generation digital delay pedal, giving you 7 selectable delay types in one compact enclosure. It simulates well-regarded analog, tape and digital effects, and pairs them with up-to-date features like tap-tempo, kill dry and buffered tail bypass. New additions to this version include the proprietary Phi delay, an SOS looper and a layered reverb, so you have plenty of ground to cover on your pedal board.

The delay modes on offer are Phi Digital, Analog, Modulation, Tape, Pan, Verb and Reverse. From short slap-back echo through to long multi-tap repeats, this pedal handles practically any delay duty you might need. Four controls (Time, Mix, Repeat and Delay type) keep things straightforward, while the 40 second sound-on-sound looper lets you build layered parts as you play. You can run a full stereo or mono signal path, and choose between true or buffered bypass depending on how the pedal sits in your chain.

Audio is processed at 48kHz, 24-bit with a dynamic range of 104dB, input impedance of 1M ohm and output impedance of 1k ohm. Left and right 6.3mm mono jacks handle both inputs and outputs. The pedal needs a 9Vdc adaptor (pin-negative, DC5521 jack), sold separately, and draws under 120mA. A USB-C port lets you apply firmware updates as they come out. Measuring 122 x 72 x 47mm and weighing 270g, it fits neatly alongside your other pedals.
