Description

The NU-X NRV-3 Damp is a miniature digital reverb pedal built around three reverb models. You can choose between Spring, Plate or Hall settings using the illuminated push button at the top of the pedal, which gives you a good spread of ambient sounds from short and bright to long and roomy. Three rotary controls handle Decay, Level and Tone, so you can shape how the reverb sits against your dry signal.

Holding the top button down during power-up switches between mono and stereo output, with stereo needing a stereo jack lead. The footswitch turns the effect on and off, and holding it down brings in a secondary effect: Shimmer in Plate mode, or Freeze in Spring and Hall modes. You can set the pedal to buffered or true bypass depending on how you want it to interact with the rest of your signal chain. A USB-C port is included for future firmware updates.

The chassis is aluminium die-cast, so it stays strong while keeping the weight down to 175g and the size to 94 x 53 x 51mm. That small footprint makes it easy to fit onto a busy pedalboard, or to patch into an effects loop for other instruments and even vocals. The NRV-3 runs on a 9V DC centre negative supply with a DC5521 connector and 100mA current draw. The power supply is not supplied, so you will need a compatible adaptor such as our 173.290UK.
