Description

The NU-X NPO-2 Tutti gives you big octave sounds from a mini enclosure. Using NUX's polyphonic octave algorithm, it generates multiple octave effects from your input signal with high musicality and very low latency. Whether you want singing high-octave harmonies, the roar of a low octave, or both together, the Tutti covers it in a footprint small enough to slot onto a crowded pedalboard.

Three modes handle different jobs. Polyphonic is the default, adding both a high and a sub octave on top of your original note. Bassline adds an octave only to notes below the split-point, leaving notes above it unchanged. Momentary engages the octave effect while you hold the footswitch and bypasses it when you release, which is handy for quick swells and stabs. You switch between modes using the top-mounted toggle, so changes are fast and there is no menu diving. Dry, Up/BSP and Sub controls let you dial in the balance you want.

Signal routing offers true bypass or buffered bypass, so you can set it up to suit your rig and cable runs. Power draw stays low at under 150mA, running from a 9V DC supply with a DC5521 connector and negative centre (adaptor not supplied). A USB port lets you update the firmware as new versions arrive. The pedal ships with hook and loop tape (Velcro) and rubber feet for secure mounting. It measures 94mm long, 51mm wide and 53mm tall, and weighs 175g.
