Description

The NU-X NMP-2 is a dual foot controller built for hands-free control of guitar effects and amplifiers. It gives you two footswitches in one compact housing, so you can trigger functions on the fly while you play. Each switch has its own LED indicator, letting you see the current state at a glance on a dark stage. The unit works with dual mono or stereo jack connections, which makes it flexible across a range of setups.

One of the useful features here is that each switch can be set independently as latching or non-latching (momentary). That means you can tailor the left and right switches to do different jobs, such as one holding a state and the other acting as a tap. This per-switch choice is handy when you are mapping the controller to loopers, drum machines or amp channel switching.

We supply the NMP-2 as a compact metal footswitch that measures 96 x 50 x 46mm and weighs 200g, so it slots neatly onto a pedalboard without taking up much room. It is compatible with the NU-X Loop Core Deluxe, JTC Drum & Loop PRO and Cerberus, and it works with many other pedals and amplifiers that accept an external footswitch. An optional 9Vdc supply (5.5 x 2.1mm, centre-negative) can be used to power the LEDs if you want the indicators lit.
