Description

The NU-X NEK-110 builds on the NEK-100, adding more sounds and features while keeping the same slim, portable format. It carries 700 internal tones and 40 digital effect types, including chorus and reverb, all storable across 9 user memory banks. Power comes from the internal 3000mAh rechargeable battery or the included 12V adaptor, so you can play at home or take it out without a mains socket nearby.

The control layout is simple and quick to read, giving direct access to transpose, split point, layering and touch response. You can split the keyboard with independent volume and pan settings, or layer two or three sounds together. There are 100 demo songs and 100 rhythm styles to play along to, with auto accompaniment and single-finger chords. A separate Live mode offers 40 music phrases launched from the upper 32 keys, which you can toggle with your normal patch sounds for standard right-hand playing.

Connections sit along the rear panel. A USB type-C MIDI port lets the NEK-110 act as a controller or sound module within a DAW, and a second USB-C takes the optional NBT-1 Bluetooth adaptor. There is a sustain pedal input, aux in, headphones out and a line output. The keyboard has 61 full-size keys, 54-note maximum polyphony and two 5W speakers. It measures 925 x 252 x 80mm and weighs 3.1kg, so it stays easy to carry and set up.
