Description

The NU-X NDR-5 Atlantic combines delay and reverb in a single metal box, giving you two effect types to shape your sound without stacking multiple pedals. On the delay side you get three classic voices: a 70s analog, a 60s tape and an 80s digital. Each one has its own character, and you control the mix with Delay Level, Time and Repeat, plus tap tempo with subdivision options for locking timings to a song.

The reverb section offers three settings, spring, plate and hall, each with Level and Delay controls. The plate reverb includes a shimmering effect, and there are bonus Shimmer and Freeze modes for holding a note or building a dreamy waterfall wash. These suit intros, interludes and endings where you want a sustained pad underneath the guitar. NU-X's Core Image Technology sits behind the sound, which is what gives the Verdugo Series its clarity.

Routing is flexible here. A TRS input handles effect loop connections via insert or a Y cable, and an input level switch lets you set -10dB or +4dB to match your signal. You can run the delay and reverb in parallel or serial, with inside routing options, and there's a stereo output for wider sound. A USB port covers firmware updates. The pedal runs from an external 9Vdc power supply, sold separately, and the 173.290UK adaptor is compatible. UK players may see delay called echo and reverb as a separate wet effect, but the controls work the same way.
