Description

The NU-X NCK-430 is a digital piano built for players who want a natural feel in a modern instrument. It uses a triple-sensor scaled hammer-action weighted keyboard, so the keys respond much like an acoustic piano, with heavier weighting in the lower notes and a lighter touch higher up. Seven touch response levels let you set how the keys react to your playing, and the 18-layer sampled piano tone carries expression from the softest pianissimo through to a strong fortissimo. With 256-note maximum polyphony, held notes and sustained passages ring out without dropping.

Sound comes from a bi-amp, four-speaker system, with two 5-inch drivers and two 2.5-inch drivers powered by 10W and 7W amplifiers. This setup reproduces string resonance and pedal response clearly, giving the feel of a real piano at home or in the studio. There are 15 piano sounds to choose from, plus classic effect pre-sets made with collaborating artists. The split keyboard function lets you set an adjustable split point, with individual octave shift, volume and tone for each side. A triple pedal unit with half-pedal support is included for finer control over sustain.

Connectivity covers Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth MIDI, along with USB audio and MIDI recording and OTG mobile recording for app and software work. The TRRS headphone/microphone jack (US: earphone jack) handles both monitoring and vocal recording, which suits lessons and livestreams, while the USB Type-C port supplies 10W to keep a mobile device charged as you play. A 3.5mm stereo aux input, 6.35mm line out and 6.35mm phones jack round out the ports. The cabinet is finished in walnut and runs from a supplied UK mains adaptor.
