Description

The NU-X NBA-200FR is a portable PA system built for outdoor use, though it works just as well indoors. It runs on a built-in 5200mAh lithium battery that gives you up to around 6 hours of playing time, so you can head out busking, teach a class or play a small gig without needing mains power nearby. The ABS enclosure keeps the weight down to 9.4kg, which makes it easy to carry between spots.

Inside you get an 8" full-range driver paired with two 3" tweeters, driven by a Class-D amplifier rated at 276W on AC power and 236W on battery. The frequency response runs from 60Hz to 20kHz with a flat, fairly neutral tuning, so it suits instruments and microphones as well as music playback. There's no heavy bass boost to muddy things, which keeps vocals and acoustic parts clear. Two independent input channels each have their own EQ, plus a digital reverb effect for adding some space to your sound.

Connections cover Channel 1 and Channel 2 jack inputs, a line in, aux in and a smartphone in, along with DI out and line out for feeding a mixer or a second speaker. The front panel gives you Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Send EFX, Master and Reverb controls. Bluetooth audio playback is supported using the included NBT-1 dongle, and the unit also handles live streaming and internal recording through your mobile device (US: cell phone). It measures 462mm long, 261mm wide and 272mm high.
