Description

The NU-X Mighty 20 mkII is a compact guitar amplifier built for practice, rehearsal, live use and recording. An 8" (200mm) speaker is driven by a 20W amp section, so you get plenty of volume for a small room or a band rehearsal. At the heart of it sits NU-X's TS/AC-HD amp modelling technology paired with IR (impulse response) speaker cabinet simulation, giving you a wide choice of classic and contemporary tones from a single box.

You have 7 channel presets to work through, and each one is fully editable using 8 freely moveable processing blocks. Alongside the amp modelling and cabinet simulation, you can add gain, EQ and a range of time-based effects to build your own sounds. Every channel preset also holds 3 pro scenes, which lets you switch quickly between settings in the middle of a song without stopping to tweak knobs. Front panel controls cover Gain, Level, Bass, Mid, Treble, Reverb and Master.

The included NBT-1 Bluetooth adaptor connects at the rear for wireless audio streaming from a phone and for deeper editing through the free Mighty Amp app on iOS or Android. Editing from a laptop works over USB using the free Mighty Editor software, and the same USB connection acts as a direct audio interface for software recording. There is also a built-in 60 second phrase looper with auto tempo detection and a drum machine, so you can practise ideas on your own. Connections include a 6.3mm guitar input, aux in, 3.5mm phones out, USB-B and USB-C. It measures 380 x 340 x 186mm and weighs 6.6kg.
