Description

The NU-X MG-50li is the flagship multi-effects processor in the NUX range, built for guitar and bass. It runs on two core technologies: TSAC-4K white-box physical modelling and Deep Image profiling. That gives you 27 white-box modelling amps and 33 Deep Image amps built in, plus room for 30 of your own user amps. If you want to capture a favourite amp or an overdrive/distortion pedal, the NUX Image and Deep Image profiling lets you do that and store the profiles directly inside the unit, so you can carry your whole rig with you.

Sound is handled by 24-bit AD/DA conversion, 32-bit floating-point processing and a 48kHz sampling rate, with a minimum latency of 3ms. The L/R Cyber IR engine provides stereo cabinet emulation with adjustable microphone, position and distance settings, so you can shape the cab and mic'ing to suit the track. You can run up to 14 effects blocks at once across a dual-chain layout with flexible routing, and the dual send/return loops let you patch in your own outboard pedals. A 5-inch colour LCD display stays readable in bright daylight.

Editing works either from the front panel or through the NUX Image and NUX Audio apps on your phone or computer, connected over the included NBT-1 Bluetooth module. A built-in USB-C audio interface covers sound customisation, patch management and recording straight into a DAW. Power comes from a 12V DC supply, and there's a built-in rechargeable battery so you can play and perform without a mains lead. Connections include an input jack, EXP jack, aux in, send/return jacks, stereo output L/R, DI out, earphone/headphone jack and MIDI in/out.
