Description

This kick drum assembly from NU-X pairs a bass drum trigger pad with a stand and a matching kick pedal. It works as a direct replacement part for the DM-210 digital drum kit, or as an extra external trigger for the DP-2000 percussion pad. If you have worn out the original or want to add another trigger to your setup, this covers both jobs.

The trigger uses a standard piezo sensor, which is passive. That means it draws no external power and simply sends its signal down the cable to your drum module. You will need a 6.3mm TRS jack lead to make the connection, such as the 176.321UK or a similar cable, so factor that in if you do not already have one to hand. The 6.3mm jack is often called a quarter-inch jack in the US, and the two terms refer to the same thing.

The pad sits on its own stand and the kick pedal is included, so the assembly is ready to set up out of the box once cabled. Packed weight is 3.66kg, with the unit itself at 3.30kg, and the pack measures 420 x 250 x 220mm. It is a straightforward, no-fuss part for keeping your electronic kit running or growing it a little further.
