Description

The NU-X DM-210 Hi-Hat Pedal is a replacement trigger for the DM-210 digital drum kit. If your original pedal has worn out or stopped responding, this drops straight in and gets you playing again. It connects using a 6.3mm TRS jack output, so you'll need a suitable TRS jack lead such as the 176.321UK to link it up.

As well as serving the DM-210, the pedal works as an external trigger for the DP-2000 percussion pad, giving you proper hi-hat control alongside the pad's other sounds. You press the pedal to open and close the hi-hat, just as you would on an acoustic kit, and the trigger sends that action back to your module. It's a straightforward way to add foot control to your setup.

The pedal is built to a sensible size and weight, coming in at 1.5kg with packed dimensions of 415 x 145 x 125mm. That gives it enough stability to sit still under your foot while you play, without being awkward to move between rooms or pack away. Whether you're replacing a faulty part or expanding what your DP-2000 can do, this trigger keeps things simple and gets on with the job.

Frequently Asked

What is the DM-210 Hi-Hat Pedal used for?

It's a hi-hat pedal trigger, used either as a replacement for the NU-X DM-210 digital drum kit or as an external trigger for the DP-2000 percussion pad.

What lead do I need to connect it?

You'll need a TRS jack lead, such as the 176.321UK or a similar one, to plug into the 6.3mm TRS jack output.

Is this a full hi-hat or just the pedal?

This is the foot pedal trigger only. It provides the open and close control for your module, not the cymbal pad itself.

Will it work with the DP-2000 percussion pad?

Yes. It works as an external hi-hat trigger for the DP-2000, adding foot control alongside the pad's other sounds.

What connection does it use?

It uses a single 6.3mm TRS jack output to send the trigger signal to your drum module.

How heavy is the pedal?

The pedal weighs 1.5kg, with a packed weight of 1.65kg.
