Description
The NU-X B-3RC is a self-contained rechargeable wireless system that runs on the license-free 2.4GHz band. It ships as a complete set with the XLR plug-in transmitter, matching receiver and an NDM-4 dynamic cardioid microphone, so you have everything needed to get a signal running out of the box. You can also pair the transmitter and receiver with any other XLR dynamic microphone you already own, since the system is built for dynamic mics and does not supply phantom power.
Setup is straightforward. Plug the transmitter onto your microphone, plug the receiver into a mixer input channel or a DSLR camera aux input, then switch both units on. The auto-pair function detects the most stable frequency within the chosen channel and connects both units on that carrier. There are 6 channels to pick from, each with multiple frequencies to hop between and a digitally encoded signal for good signal integrity. You can also run the B-3RC without the mic to send a mixer output wirelessly to an active speaker (US: powered speaker). Because it works on 2.4GHz, it sits happily alongside conventional VHF and UHF wireless systems.
When you are done, the transmitter and receiver drop into the supplied charge case, which has an internal power bank to top both units up. The case can itself be powered or charged over USB-C and shows battery status on indicators. A full charge gives around 3.5 hours of operation, with the transmitter and receiver recharging in roughly 2.5 hours and the case in about 4 hours. Range reaches up to 30m with latency under 4.8ms, which keeps things usable for live vocals, camera audio and speaking work.

Frequently Asked
Does the B-3RC work with condenser microphones?
No. The system is designed for dynamic microphones and does not supply phantom power, so it will not run condenser mics that need 48V.
How long does a full charge last?
You get around 3.5 hours of operation from a full charge. The transmitter and receiver recharge in roughly 2.5 hours, and the carry case takes about 4 hours.
Can I use my own microphone with it?
Yes. The XLR plug-in transmitter connects to any XLR dynamic microphone, so you can use the included NDM-4 or one of your own.
Will it interfere with my existing wireless gear?
It runs on the 2.4GHz band, so it can be used alongside conventional VHF and UHF wireless systems without clashing.
What is the operating range?
The B-3RC reaches up to 30m, with latency under 4.8ms. Keep a clear line of sight for best results.
Can I use it without the microphone?
Yes. You can run the transmitter and receiver on their own to send a mixer output wirelessly to an active speaker.
