Description

The NovaLite is a 20cm round flush ceiling and wall light with an integrated 11W LED delivering warm 3000K light through an opal plastic diffuser. The fitting mounts directly onto a ceiling or wall surface with a profile of approximately 60mm, making it suitable for low ceilings, hallways and rooms where a pendant would hang too low.

Designed for residential and commercial interiors including living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, stairwells and office spaces, the NovaLite provides general ambient lighting rather than task or accent light. The opal diffuser spreads the LED output evenly across the fitting face, avoiding hotspots and creating soft, shadowless illumination suitable for spaces up to 8-10m². The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

The body is powder-coated aluminium finished in matt black, providing a neutral backdrop that pairs with both monochrome and coloured interiors. The 200mm diameter sits comfortably on standard UK ceiling roses and flush wall boxes. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux, with typical LED lifespan exceeding 25,000 hours at rated output.

Can the NovaLite be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED is not dimmable and will not function correctly on a dimmer circuit. Install on a standard switched mains circuit only.

What's the difference between ceiling and wall mounting?

The fitting installs identically in both positions — the fixing plate mounts flush to the surface and the body clips onto it. For wall mounting, ensure the cable outlet is positioned where you want the centre of the light to sit.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against water ingress and should only be used in dry indoor locations. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, or outdoor covered areas.

What size room does it light?

The 11W output at 3000K provides ambient light for rooms up to approximately 8-10m² (a small bedroom, hallway section, or utility room). Larger spaces benefit from multiple fittings spaced evenly.
