Description

The Notredame is a 100cm diameter wall light built from a laser-cut metal panel finished in gold, with an integrated 24W 3000K LED behind a circular opal diffuser at its centre. The fretwork is drawn from the rose-window geometry of Gothic cathedral architecture, with concentric rings of stars, hexagons and pointed arches radiating outward from the diffuser to the scalloped outer edge.

At 100cm across and only 8cm deep, the panel suits stairwell walls, double-height hallways, large landings and feature walls in living and dining rooms where a flat fitting is needed but a plain plate would feel undersized. The single central LED throws light forward through the opal diffuser and sideways through the cut metalwork, casting the fretwork pattern as shadow detail onto the surrounding wall when the room lights are dimmed.

The metal panel is finished in a warm gold tone that catches reflected light along the cut edges, giving the piece visible depth despite its shallow profile. The 3000K colour temperature keeps the light warm rather than clinical, which pairs well with the brass-leaning gold finish and softens the contrast of the cut shadows.
