The Nostalgia is a 6 light semi-flush ceiling light built around six matt black metal branches radiating from a central brushed gold ceiling mount, each branch ending in a frosted white glass globe. The branches vary in length and angle to create an asymmetric spread across 115cm, with brass-capped tips at each globe junction. Each globe houses an E14 bulb (sold separately) rated up to 40W.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.7m where a traditional chandelier drop would sit too low, the Nostalgia provides multi-point lighting across a wide footprint without requiring floor-to-ceiling clearance. The 35cm projection from ceiling to lowest globe suits living rooms, dining rooms and large bedrooms where general ambient light needs to cover 4-5m of space. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

The matt black branches contrast with brushed gold ceiling mount and globe tips, giving the fitting a dual-tone finish that pairs with both warm brass accents and cooler black metalwork elsewhere in a room. The frosted glass diffuses light from each bulb evenly, preventing glare when the fitting is viewed from below. What bulbs does it take?

The Nostalgia uses six E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs, each rated up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 5-7W warm white LED candle or globe bulbs at 2700K-3000K for general room lighting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting projects 35cm from the ceiling and is designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.7m. In rooms with 2.4m ceilings the lowest globes sit at approximately 2.05m above floor level, which provides clearance for typical circulation.

Can it be used on a dimmer switch?

Yes, provided you use dimmable E14 LED bulbs and a compatible LED dimmer switch. The metal construction itself is dimmer-compatible, but the bulbs must be rated as dimmable.

What room size does the 115cm width suit?

The 115cm spread works best in rooms at least 3m wide. Over a dining table the fitting typically centres over a 1.8-2.4m table length. In open-plan living rooms it suits spaces of 20-30m² where the six-point light distribution can cover the full floor area.
