Description

The Nordica is an adjustable table lamp built around a natural beech wood arm mounted on a matt black cross-base. A black fabric shade sits at the head, housing a single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately). The arm adjusts via a metal collar at the vertical shaft, allowing the head to be raised or lowered between 580mm and 720mm to direct light towards a desk surface, a reading position, or up onto a wall as ambient wash light.

Designed as task lighting for desks, bedside tables and side tables in living rooms or home offices, the Nordica pairs natural and industrial materials without over-emphasising either. The beech arm provides warmth and texture, while the matt black base, collar and shade anchor the design in contemporary interiors. The cross-base footprint gives stability on flat surfaces without needing a wide spread, and the braided fabric cable adds a finished detail in place of standard PVC flex.

The black fabric shade diffuses light from the E27 bulb, softening direct glare and casting a pool of downward light suitable for reading or close work. The shade measures approximately 200mm across, giving enough spread for task lighting without dominating a small desk or bedside table. At 2.5kg the lamp has enough weight to resist tipping when the arm is extended, but remains light enough to move between rooms or reposition on a surface.
