The Nora Ball is a 250mm spherical table lamp combining a clear glass outer globe with a frosted white glass inner shade, set on a white marble-effect resin base with a gold metal collar. The inner frosted shade houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately), which casts warm light through the frosted glass and reflects softly within the clear outer sphere before diffusing into the room.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and side tables in living rooms and bedrooms, the Nora Ball works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The 260mm total height and 250mm diameter suit surfaces where a compact presence is needed without overwhelming smaller furniture. The clear glass sphere reflects surrounding finishes during the day, while the inner glow creates a soft pool of light at night without harsh glare.

The white marble-effect base shows natural grey veining across the resin surface, giving each lamp a slightly different pattern. Yes, if fitted with a dimmable E27 bulb and paired with a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp itself has no built-in dimming control, so dimming depends on the bulb specification and the wall or inline dimmer used.

The white base is a marble-effect resin with natural grey veining. Each lamp shows a slightly different veining pattern due to the production process. The gold collar separating the base from the glass sphere is plated metal.

How is the glass cleaned?

Wipe the outer clear glass sphere with a dry microfibre cloth or a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. For the frosted inner shade, unscrew the outer sphere from the base, remove the shade from the E27 fitting and clean separately. Avoid chemical glass cleaners that may damage the gold plating on the collar.
