Description

The Nora is a 3 light bar pendant with three frosted glass cylinder shades, each encased in a clear glass outer shell with a natural wood collar at the top. The three pendants hang from a 1080mm linear bar in a white powder-coated finish, suspended on adjustable cables from 440mm to 1800mm drop. Each shade houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately), with the frosted inner glass diffusing light evenly while the clear outer casing adds depth and visual layering.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars where multiple light sources are needed across a linear surface, the Nora works in spaces with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The 1080mm bar length suits tables and islands between 1.5m and 2.2m long, with the three pendants evenly spaced at approximately 360mm centres. The adjustable drop allows the shades to be positioned 700-900mm above a worktop or table depending on ceiling height and personal preference. The white bar and wood collars provide a Scandinavian-influenced palette that pairs with light timber, white kitchens and soft neutral interiors.

Each pendant combines two glass layers, an inner frosted cylinder that acts as the diffuser, and an outer clear glass shell that protects the inner shade and creates a bottle-like silhouette when lit. The natural wood collar at the top of each pendant adds warmth and texture against the cooler white and glass finishes. The combined weight of 5.7kg requires secure ceiling fixings, and the wide voltage range (100-240V) makes the fitting suitable for international use as well as UK installation.

Each of the three pendants takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or kitchen island lighting.

Is the Nora dimmable?

Yes, provided you use dimmable E27 bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself is dimmer-ready, but both the bulbs and the wall dimmer must support dimming function.

What length table or island does it suit?

The 1080mm bar length works best over tables or islands between 1.5m and 2.2m long. For longer islands or tables above 2.4m, consider two Nora fittings spaced along the length, or a model with more than three pendants.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The cables are adjustable between 440mm and 1800mm drop, and the adjustment is made during installation. Once the cables are set and the canopy is fixed to the ceiling, further adjustment requires partial removal of the fitting.
