Description

The Nora is a 1650mm floor lamp built on a solid black marble disc base with a slim black metal stem supporting a dual-layer glass shade at the head. The outer layer is chrome-finished clear glass, the inner layer frosted, so light from the single E27 bulb diffuses into soft ambient glow while the chrome outer reflects surrounding surfaces.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and lounge corners where a vertical accent and warm task lighting are both needed, the Nora sits behind or beside sofas, armchairs and reading chairs. The 260mm-diameter shade casts downward and outward light, making it suitable for evening reading or general room ambience when paired with a warm-white E27 LED bulb (sold separately). The lamp is dimmable when used with a compatible E27 dimmable bulb and dimmer switch.

The black marble base provides 6.2kg of ballast, keeping the lamp stable on carpets and hard floors without needing to be fixed in place. The marble itself shows natural mineral variation between individual pieces. The chrome-finish glass shade contrasts with the matt black stem, giving the lamp a two-tone metallic accent that pairs with both warm-toned and cooler contemporary interiors. The frosted inner layer hides the bulb filament from direct view at most angles.
