Description

The Noon Oval is a 12-light pendant built on an antique gold metal frame measuring 800mm long by 480mm wide, radiating clear glass rods and teardrop-shaped glass elements in a starburst arrangement. Each of the twelve E14 sockets (bulbs sold separately) sits inside the central sphere, with light refracted through the surrounding glass to create ambient illumination rather than direct glare.

The oval footprint makes this pendant suited to rectangular dining tables, kitchen islands and hallway runs where a horizontal emphasis works better than a circular fitting. The adjustable drop from 625mm to 1876mm allows the pendant to be set 700-900mm above a table surface for rooms with 2.4m+ ceilings. The antique gold finish on the metal frame provides a warm mid-tone between polished brass and aged bronze, pairing comfortably with both warm-toned interiors and cooler greys.

The glass elements radiate from a central antique gold sphere in alternating lengths and shapes — cylindrical rods provide vertical lines while the teardrop ends add softer curves. The combined weight of 7.8kg requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or solid backing rather than plasterboard alone. The glass rods and droplets are individually sleeved onto the metal spokes during assembly, allowing replacement if one breaks without needing to replace the entire fitting.

The pendant is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
