Description

The Nomada is a 48cm disc pendant light built from aluminium with a sand black finish on the upper surface and painted gold detailing around the rim and underside. An integrated 33W LED ring sits within the disc structure, emitting 1000 lumens of 3000K warm white light in two directions: upwards through a translucent ring around the top edge, and downwards through two exposed gold-finished lamp heads visible beneath the disc.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and lounge areas with ceiling heights between 2.5m and 3m, the Nomada provides both ambient uplighting and focused downlighting from a single fitting. The adjustable cable allows the pendant to be set between 250mm and 1750mm below the ceiling, making it adaptable to different room proportions. The dual-direction light output creates a halo effect around the disc edge while the downlighters provide task illumination below.

The sand black finish on the aluminium disc has a fine-textured matte surface that reduces glare and fingerprints, while the painted gold accents on the rim and lamp heads provide warm metallic contrast. The 4.5kg weight gives the pendant substantial presence without requiring reinforced ceiling fixings in most installations. The cylindrical black canopy at ceiling level houses the transformer and wiring connections, fitting standard UK ceiling roses.

The Nomada is made in Spain. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but carries a 3-year warranty covering both the LED module and the aluminium construction. The fitting is not dimmable and operates on standard 220-240V mains.

No. The integrated LED operates at a fixed output of 1000 lumens and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

Can the LED be replaced when it fails?

The LED module is integrated into the pendant structure and is not user-replaceable. The fitting carries a 3-year warranty covering the LED and aluminium construction. LED lifespan is typically 25,000-30,000 hours under normal use.

What ceiling height works best?

The adjustable drop of 250-1750mm suits ceiling heights between 2.5m and 3m. For a dining table, position the disc 700-800mm above the surface. For a kitchen island, 650-750mm clearance typically works well.

Does the pendant provide both up and down light?

Yes. The LED ring emits light upwards through the translucent edge around the disc rim, creating a halo effect on the ceiling. The two downlighters beneath the disc provide focused task light below.
