Description

The Noa II is a 1.8m floor lamp with dual integrated LED light sources housed in a cylindrical white metal stem accented by a beech wood sleeve. The lamp emits light both upward from the ceiling-facing top and downward from a mid-stem aperture, delivering a combined 2100lm at 3000K warm white from 21W total LED power. A touch-sensitive dimmer switch on the stem allows stepless brightness adjustment and includes a memory function that recalls the last-used setting when the lamp is switched on again.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners where both ambient and task lighting are needed, the Noa II provides indirect ceiling wash light and directed downlight towards a sofa, armchair or side table. The 260mm diameter base gives stability on bare floors and short-pile rugs without occupying excessive floor space. The dual light sources mean the lamp can function as ambient-only, task-only, or both combined depending on dimmer setting, making it more versatile than single-source floor lamps.

The beech wood section runs approximately one-third of the stem height, providing a natural wood accent that breaks the white metal column and adds textural warmth to Scandinavian, mid-century and contemporary interiors. The matt white finish on the metal minimises reflections and pairs with both cool-toned greys and warm neutrals. At 6.5kg the lamp has enough mass to remain stable when nudged but is light enough to be repositioned without difficulty.

Is the Noa II dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is controlled by a touch-sensitive dimmer switch on the stem, allowing stepless adjustment from low ambient light to full 2100lm output. The dimmer includes a memory function that recalls the last brightness setting when the lamp is next switched on.

Can the uplight and downlight be controlled separately?

No. Both the upward-facing and downward-facing LEDs dim together from the same touch control. The lamp cannot operate one light source independently of the other.

What ceiling height is needed?

At 1.8m tall, the Noa II works in standard UK rooms with 2.4m ceilings, leaving 600mm clearance between the lamp top and ceiling. Lower ceilings will reduce the effectiveness of the upward ceiling wash light.

Is the beech wood finish sealed?

The beech section is finished with a protective coating suitable for indoor use. Wipe with a dry or barely-damp microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid soaking the wood or using spray cleaners directly on the beech surface.
