Description
The Niseko is a 90cm circular LED suspension light with a wood-effect frame enclosing an opal acrylic diffuser, suspended on steel cables from a white ceiling rose. A 66W integrated LED module inside the ring delivers 5440 lumens at a 110° beam angle, spreading downward and outward light across the full diameter. Colour temperature is tuneable from 3000K warm white to 6000K cool white via the included remote control, which also dims the output from 0-100%.
Designed for dining rooms, open-plan kitchen-living areas, and commercial spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Niseko provides both ambient fill and task light depending on the colour temperature setting. The 900mm outer diameter covers a 1.8-2.2m dining table or an island worktop of similar length. Drop height is adjustable on installation from 150mm minimum to 2000mm maximum, allowing the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above the surface depending on ceiling height and visual balance.
The wood-effect finish wraps the aluminium ring frame in a textured veneer or laminate surface that mimics natural timber grain. This contrasts the white opal diffuser and gives the fitting warmth in contemporary interiors where natural materials sit alongside metal, glass and concrete. The frame depth is approximately 40mm, keeping the visual mass relatively light despite the 900mm scale. At 4kg total weight the fitting requires secure ceiling fixing and a back plate rated to carry the load — the standard UK ceiling rose fitting is suitable.
The remote control uses a 2.4GHz RF signal rather than infrared, so it does not require line-of-sight and can control the light from adjacent rooms. Multiple Niseko fittings can be paired to a single remote or controlled individually depending on installation preference. The 66W power draw at full brightness equates to approximately 82 lumens per watt, positioning the Niseko in the mid-efficiency range for large-format architectural LED fittings.

Frequently Asked
What colour temperature range is available?
The integrated LED is tuneable from 3000K warm white to 6000K cool white via the remote control. 3000K gives a warm, ambient tone suitable for evening dining or relaxed settings, while 6000K provides a cooler, brighter tone closer to daylight for task work or commercial environments.
Does the remote control require line-of-sight?
No. The remote uses a 2.4GHz RF signal rather than infrared, so it controls the light through walls and does not require direct line-of-sight to the fitting. Multiple Niseko lights can be paired to a single remote or controlled individually depending on installation preference.
What ceiling height is recommended?
The adjustable drop allows installation in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.6m upwards. For a dining table or island the fitting typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with 2.6-3.2m ceiling heights. Higher ceilings can use the full 2000mm maximum drop to maintain the same visual relationship to the table.
Is the wood finish real timber?
The wood-effect finish is a textured veneer or laminate applied to the aluminium ring frame. It mimics natural timber grain and provides a warm, organic appearance but is not solid wood. This keeps the weight manageable and ensures dimensional stability under temperature changes.
