Description

The Niseko is a 45cm circular LED suspension light built around a brushed gold metal ring housing an integrated 30W LED strip and an opal acrylic diffuser. The light is controlled via remote, allowing the colour temperature to be adjusted between warm 3000K and cool 6000K, and the brightness dimmed from full 2560 lumens down to ambient levels. The suspension cables are adjustable from 150mm to 2000mm, giving flexibility in ceiling height and room proportion.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas, hallways and bedrooms where a single overhead fitting provides the primary light source, the Niseko pairs ambient and task function. At 3000K the light suits evening dining and relaxing; at 6000K it provides sharper visibility for food preparation or reading. The 120° beam angle distributes light evenly across a 3-4m diameter area beneath the fitting, making it suitable for tables up to 1.5m long or kitchen islands up to 2m.

The brushed gold finish on the metal ring softens reflections and pairs with brass, copper and warm-toned interiors. The ring itself acts as the visual frame, while the opal diffuser sits recessed inside, hiding the LED strip and preventing direct glare. At 2.4kg the fitting is light enough to suspend on standard ceiling hooks without additional reinforcement in typical plasterboard ceilings. The Niseko is part of Mantra's CCT-adjustable suspension range, available in multiple diameters and finishes.

The Niseko includes a remote control that adjusts the LED colour temperature between 3000K warm white and 6000K cool white in increments. The same remote controls dimming from full brightness down to a low ambient setting.

What table size does the 45cm diameter suit?

The 45cm diameter works over dining tables up to 1.5m long or kitchen islands up to 2m, providing even light across the surface when hung 700-800mm above. Larger tables may benefit from two Niseko fittings spaced along the table length.

Is the drop adjustable after installation?

Yes. The suspension cables can be shortened or lengthened during installation within the 150-2000mm range. Once installed, the drop can be adjusted again by accessing the ceiling canopy and re-tensioning the cables.

Does it require additional ceiling reinforcement?

At 2.4kg the Niseko can be hung from a standard ceiling hook fixed into a joist or plasterboard anchor rated for 5kg or above. Hollow plasterboard ceilings without access to a joist may need a toggle or cavity anchor.
