The Niseko is a 38cm circular LED suspension light with a matt black metal ring enclosing an opal acrylic diffuser, suspended on three fine steel cables from a matt black ceiling canopy. The integrated 30W LED produces 2250 lumens and offers tuneable colour temperature from warm 2700K to daylight 5000K, controlled via the included remote or a smartphone app.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas, office spaces and living rooms where both task and ambient light are needed, the Niseko provides downward-focused illumination with a 145° beam angle that spreads light evenly across a 2-3m diameter below the fixture. The adjustable drop between 250mm and 2000mm allows the light to be positioned close to a ceiling for low-height rooms or dropped over a dining table or kitchen island in spaces with higher ceilings. The remote and app control allow brightness and colour temperature adjustment without needing a separate dimmer switch wired into the circuit.

The matt black powder-coated finish on the outer ring minimises reflections and creates a defined edge around the diffused light source. The opal diffuser hides the LED array and spreads light evenly without visible hotspots or individual LED points. The three suspension cables are thin-gauge steel, giving the appearance that the ring is floating rather than hanging from a heavy chain or rod. At 2.7kg the fixture has enough weight to remain stable when adjusted but not so much that it stresses standard UK ceiling fixings.

The Niseko includes a remote control that allows you to switch between warm white (2700K), neutral white (4000K) and daylight white (5000K), plus intermediate steps. The same control is available via the Mantra smartphone app, which connects via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi depending on the model. Both brightness and colour temperature can be saved as presets.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 250mm means the light can be fitted in rooms with 2.4m ceilings and still provide adequate headroom. For dining tables or kitchen islands, a typical installation positions the fixture 700-900mm above the surface, which suits ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The maximum 2000mm drop accommodates double-height or vaulted ceiling installations.

Does the app require a hub or gateway?

The Niseko connects directly to your smartphone via Bluetooth or the home Wi-Fi network, depending on which Mantra control system is supplied with this model. No separate hub or bridge is required. The app is available for iOS and Android and allows grouping of multiple Mantra lights for synchronised control.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

Yes. The three-cable suspension system can be adjusted to different lengths during installation, allowing the light to hang level even when the ceiling canopy is mounted on a slope. The cables should be adjusted so the fixture remains horizontal when suspended.
