Description

The Niobe is a single-light crystal wall light with an integrated on-wall switch, built around a polished chrome arm that extends 260mm from the wall. The arm is dressed with strands of small Asfour crystal spheres that catch ambient and direct light, while a handcrafted sphere cage edged in miniature crystals sits at the centre of the arm. A crystal pan sits beneath the E14 lampholder, supporting the candle-style bulb and adding a decorative element below the light source.

Designed for bedside positions, hallway accent lighting, and living room wall features where switched control at the fitting is preferred over a ceiling switch. The 270mm height and 110mm width suit narrow wall spaces between furniture or either side of a bed where table lamp placement is not practical. The integrated switch removes the need for wiring to a wall switch, making retrofitting simpler in rooms where wall-switch circuits are not present.

The polished chrome finish provides high reflectivity that amplifies the sparkle from the crystal strands and the cage detail. The Asfour crystal is optical-grade leaded glass cut with facets that refract light into spectrum colours when the bulb is lit. The 0.7kg weight sits comfortably on plasterboard with standard wall plugs and screws.
