Description

The Ninette is a 600mm 4-light pendant light with four curved arms radiating from a central column, each finished in antique brass and supporting a black fabric shade. The shades feature wave-formed lower edges where alternating peaks and troughs create a rippled profile, visible from below when the pendant is installed. Four E27 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the shades, with light directed downwards through the open bottom and upwards to reflect off the antique brass canopy.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room focal points with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Ninette provides ambient and task light through the four downward-facing bulbs. The adjustable drop range of 720-1650mm allows the pendant to be set 700-900mm above a dining surface or kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height. The 600mm diameter suits tables of 1400-1800mm length without overwhelming smaller spaces. The antique brass arms curve outwards before rising to meet the central column, giving the pendant a symmetrical radial structure that looks balanced from all angles.

The antique brass finish on the metalwork shows tonal variation and a darker patina compared to polished or brushed brass, giving the fitting a warmer, aged appearance that pairs with traditional, classical and warm-toned contemporary interiors. The black fabric shades contrast against the brass frame and create defined visual weight at each bulb position. The wave-formed edges add sculptural detail to what would otherwise be plain conical shades, and the rippled profile softens the geometric lines of the brass arms. At 4.6kg the pendant requires a ceiling rose rated for the combined weight of the fitting and four bulbs.
