The frame consists of twin sculpted arms that rise from a circular ceiling plate, flow outward in symmetrical curves, then converge beneath the shade to form a central finial. The visible metalwork sits above the shade, creating a crown-like structure that contrasts with the soft white fabric below.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Ninette provides ambient and task lighting through its four-bulb configuration. The adjustable drop between 720mm and 1650mm allows the pendant to be set 700-800mm above a dining table or 600-700mm above a kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height. The 600mm shade diameter suits tables between 1.2m and 1.8m in length without overwhelming smaller spaces.

The antique brass finish on the frame presents a muted gold tone with subtle oxidation marks, giving it a warmer, less reflective appearance than polished brass. The ivory white fabric shade diffuses light evenly downward and outward, softening the output from four bare-bulb E27 fittings (bulbs sold separately). What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 720mm means the pendant sits at least 720mm below the ceiling plate when fully raised. For comfortable clearance above a dining table (700-800mm), ceiling heights of 2.6m or above work best. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the Ninette if the pendant is raised to its minimum drop.

Can the shade be cleaned?

The ivory white fabric shade can be dusted gently with a soft brush or lint roller. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp microfibre cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the fabric and do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners.
