Description

The Nido is a 4-light LED cluster pendant featuring four sculptural chrome forms suspended from a 450mm circular satin nickel canopy. Each form is a twisted, abstract shape cast in polished chrome, with integrated warm white 3000K LEDs inside that direct light upwards through the metallic curves. Three additional LED disks are recessed into the canopy itself, providing supplementary downward light. The combined 34W LED output delivers 2800 lumens across the four pendant elements and the three canopy disks.

Designed for dining rooms, double-height entrance halls and stairwell voids with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Nido functions as both task and accent lighting. The 800mm drop from canopy to the lowest pendant element works over tables or in open circulation spaces where the cluster can be viewed from multiple angles. The upward-directed light from the four chrome forms creates indirect ambient illumination by bouncing off the ceiling, while the canopy LEDs provide direct downward coverage. The mirror-finish chrome reflects surrounding light and colour, making the pendant shift in appearance depending on room lighting and time of day.

Each chrome form weighs approximately 1.4kg, giving the full assembly a 5.55kg presence that requires secure fixing to a joist or plasterboard anchor system. The polished chrome finish shows fingerprints during handling but reflects minimal surface detail once installed at typical ceiling heights. The LEDs are non-dimmable and operate on 100-240V mains, making the fitting compatible with UK, European and international installations without a transformer. Do the chrome forms need cleaning?

Polished chrome shows fingerprints and dust. Wipe with a soft microfibre cloth dampened with distilled water, then dry immediately with a clean dry cloth to avoid water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that can scratch the mirror finish.

How is the pendant installed?
