Description

The Neutrik NAC3FXXA-W-L is a locking AC mains cable connector from Neutrik's Powercon FXXA/FXXB series, built around screw terminals that accept cable diameters from 10 to 16mm. The connector uses a three-conductor single-phase configuration with keying and colour coding for power-out applications, and pairs with Powercon XX Series receptacles to provide circuit-breaking capability when disconnected under load.

Designed for professional audio, lighting and AV installations where standard appliance couplers lack the durability or security needed, the NAC3FXXA-W-L serves applications from touring production to fixed installation in theatres, studios and live venues. The twist-lock mechanism requires a quarter-turn to engage or release the connection, preventing accidental disconnection during use. The screw terminals provide a gas-tight connection suitable for high-current loads and environments with vibration or movement.

The strain relief clamps directly onto the cable jacket and locks mechanically with the internal insert, aligning automatically with the housing during assembly. This removes the need for secondary cable glands or separate strain relief components.
