Description

The Nepal Mini is a 75cm ceiling fan light with three retractable blades that fold into a central black housing when not in use, surrounding an integrated 85W LED ring producing 5200 lumens. The LED halo emits tuneable white light across 2700-5000K, controlled via included remote or smartphone app. A DC motor drives the fan at variable speeds while remaining quieter than AC motor equivalents.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and home offices where ceiling height allows at least 2.4m clearance, the Nepal Mini combines ambient lighting with air circulation. The retractable blades deploy when the fan is switched on and retract flush when switched off, giving the fitting a low-profile ring appearance during winter months or when only lighting is needed. The 210mm overall height including canopy requires careful measurement in rooms with lower ceilings to avoid headroom issues.

The matt black powder-coated finish on the aluminium housing and ABS blades absorbs light rather than reflecting it, making the fitting less visually dominant than polished or chrome alternatives. The tuneable white LED allows the colour temperature to shift from warm 2700K for evening use to cooler 5000K daylight tones for morning and task-focused hours. Remote and app control both support dimming across the full output range and fan speed adjustment across six settings.

The DC motor consumes 85W at full brightness and maximum fan speed combined, dropping to approximately 30W when only the light is active at 50% output. The 5200 lumen output provides sufficient ambient light for rooms up to 20 square metres without supplementary fittings. How do the retractable blades work?

The three blades fold into the central housing when the fan is switched off, giving a flush ring appearance. When the fan is activated via remote or app, the blades deploy outward into their operating position. This happens automatically. No manual adjustment is needed.

What ceiling height is required?

The Nepal Mini has a 210mm total height from ceiling to the bottom of the housing. In rooms with 2.4m ceilings, this leaves approximately 2.2m clearance, which is acceptable for most uses. Lower ceilings may create headroom concerns, particularly in circulation areas.

Can the light and fan operate independently?

Yes. The remote and app both allow the light to run without the fan, and the fan to run without the light. The colour temperature and brightness are adjustable independently of fan speed.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The integrated LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours and is not user-replaceable. The 5-year warranty covers the LED module, motor and control electronics as a sealed unit.
