Description

The Nepal is a 1050mm ceiling fan light with four retractable wood-effect blades that fold into a white circular housing when the fan is off, leaving a continuous LED ring visible around the perimeter. The integrated LED produces 7200 lumens across a tuneable white spectrum from 2700K warm white to 5000K daylight, adjustable via the included remote control, smartphone app or voice commands through Alexa and Google Assistant.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and dining areas with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Nepal combines ambient lighting with variable-speed cooling. The DC motor runs across six speed settings and operates in reverse for winter mode, redistributing warm air downwards. The retractable blade mechanism means the unit presents as a flush circular ceiling light when stationary, with the wood-effect blades deploying only when the fan function is activated.

The white housing and wood-effect blade finish suit contemporary and Scandinavian-influenced interiors where natural tones and clean geometry are preferred. At 245mm total height including the motor housing, the Nepal requires a minimum ceiling clearance but the low-profile design works in standard UK residential ceiling heights. The remote control provides immediate access to fan speed, light brightness, colour temperature and timer functions, while the app interface allows scheduling and scene programming.

The DC motor consumes 110W at maximum output, delivering quieter operation and lower running costs than traditional AC ceiling fans. The 360-degree beam angle from the LED ring provides even illumination across the room without a visible bulb or central hot spot. At 6.3kg installed weight, the fan requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced mounting point rather than a standard plasterboard ceiling rose.
