Description

The Nepal is a 1050mm ceiling fan light combining a circular LED ring, three retractable wood-effect blades and a silver motor housing in a single flush-mount fitting. The integrated LED delivers 7200lm across a tuneable 2700-5000K colour temperature range, allowing the light to shift from warm white to daylight white via remote, app or voice control. The three blades extend from the motor when the fan is active and retract into the housing when the fan is switched off, leaving only the silver frame and LED ring visible.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Nepal provides combined ambient lighting and air circulation without the visual bulk of traditional ceiling fans. The DC motor runs quieter than AC equivalents and draws 110W at full output, making it suitable for bedrooms, living rooms and open-plan kitchen-diners where both cooling and lighting are required. The fixture mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose with 245mm total projection from the ceiling when installed.

The wood-effect finish on the blades is a printed laminate over metal, not solid timber, giving a consistent tonal finish across all three blades. The silver motor housing and blade mechanism are powder-coated metal. Control options include the supplied infrared remote, a smartphone app (iOS and Android) and voice commands via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, though the app and voice functions require a compatible Wi-Fi bridge or smart home hub. The LED ring casts light across a full 360° beam angle with no hot spots, making it effective as the primary light source in rooms up to approximately 20-25m².

The 5-year warranty covers the LED module, motor and control electronics. The retractable blade mechanism uses a centrifugal clutch that engages and disengages based on motor speed, so there are no manual levers or switches to operate. The blades extend automatically when the fan is turned on and retract when it stops.
