The Natura is an 832mm outdoor flush ceiling or wall light with a curved polyethylene shade in matt white and an opal white diffuser, housing two E27 bulbs. The asymmetric leaf-shaped profile measures 510mm deep and projects 297mm from the mounting surface, with the shade sweeping up in a fluid curve from a flattened base to a raised crest. IP44 rated for use in covered outdoor locations where the fitting is protected from direct rain.

Designed for covered porches, sheltered terraces, garden room ceilings and exterior wall mounting under eaves, the Natura provides ambient light through the opal diffuser rather than direct downlight. The two E27 sockets accept standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the wattage limit (sold separately), allowing control over brightness and colour temperature depending on the application. The fitting can mount horizontally on ceilings or vertically on walls, with the curved profile creating different visual effects depending on orientation.

The polyethylene construction withstands outdoor temperature fluctuations and UV exposure better than glass or metal equivalents, while maintaining a clean matt surface that resists showing weathering. At 4kg the fitting requires secure fixing into ceiling joists or wall studs rather than plasterboard alone. The matt white finish pairs with white-painted timber cladding, rendered walls and light-toned stone or composite decking without creating harsh contrast.

The opal diffuser spreads light evenly across the interior of the shade, turning the entire curved surface into a diffuse light source rather than concentrating output through a single aperture. This creates soft perimeter lighting in covered outdoor dining areas and makes the Natura suitable for mounting above seating zones where glare from exposed bulbs would be uncomfortable.

Can the Natura be used in fully exposed outdoor locations?

No. The IP44 rating protects against splashing water from any direction, but the fitting must be installed under cover where it is protected from direct rainfall and standing water. Suitable locations include covered porches, pergolas with solid roofs, and wall mounting under wide eaves.

What bulbs are recommended?

The Natura takes two E27 bulbs (sold separately). Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for outdoor ambient lighting. The opal diffuser works best with omni-directional bulbs rather than directional spotlights.

Can it be mounted on a wall instead of a ceiling?

Yes. The fitting can be mounted horizontally on ceilings or vertically on walls. The curved profile creates different visual effects depending on orientation, with wall mounting emphasising the sweeping upward curve of the shade.

Is the Natura dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulbs used. Install dimmable E27 LED bulbs and pair with a compatible LED dimmer switch to enable dimming. Standard non-dimmable bulbs will operate at full brightness only.
