Description
The Nassau is a 1820mm LED floor lamp with an angled head on a slender white stem, built around an integrated 30W LED module that delivers 2800lm at 3000K warm white. An inline floor dimmer on the cable run allows brightness adjustment from soft ambient glow to focused reading light without needing a wall dimmer or smart controller.
Designed for reading corners next to armchairs, side-of-sofa positions, and bedroom reading zones, the Nassau provides directed light without the visual mass of a traditional tripod or arc floor lamp. The 270mm diameter weighted base gives stability on both bare floors and rugs, while the angled head can be positioned to direct light downwards onto a book or magazine, or angled slightly upwards to wash a wall with indirect light. The lamp head rotates on its joint, allowing light to be swung into position without moving the base.
The white finish on the stem and base gives a neutral backdrop that pairs cleanly with white walls, light-toned wood furniture and contemporary interiors without competing visually with other elements in the room. At 5kg the lamp has enough weight to remain stable when the head is adjusted, but light enough to be moved between rooms or repositioned seasonally. The integrated LED removes the need to source or replace bulbs — the 30W module is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use at full brightness, equivalent to around 10 years of typical evening reading.

Frequently Asked
How is the Nassau dimmed?
The lamp includes an inline floor dimmer built into the cable, positioned approximately 400mm from the plug. Brightness is adjusted by rotating the dimmer dial — no wall dimmer or smart controller is needed.
Can the LED be replaced?
The LED is integrated into the lamp head and is not user-replaceable. The module is rated for approximately 25,000 hours at full brightness, equivalent to around 10 years of typical evening use.
Is the head adjustable?
Yes. The lamp head rotates on its joint, allowing light to be directed downwards onto reading material or angled slightly upwards to create wall wash. The head angle is not spring-loaded, so it holds its position once set.
What base diameter is needed for stability on rugs?
The 270mm diameter weighted base provides stability on both bare floors and short-pile rugs. On thicker or shag rugs, ensure the base sits flat and the lamp is positioned where it will not be knocked by passing traffic.
