Murano 6 Light Crystal Chandelier - Gold

The Murano is a 6-light crystal chandelier built around a polished gold octagonal frame, with looped acrylic ribbons draped beneath the rim and cascading prism-cut crystal drops hung from the perimeter. Six internal E14 candle lamps sit within the basket, lighting the crystals from above and casting reflections through the ribboned skirt. The chandelier suspends from a gold canopy on a matching gold chain, with cable concealed inside.

Designed for living rooms, formal dining rooms and grand entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Murano works as a primary ambient fitting over a dining table or as the central feature in a reception space. The 50cm diameter and 55cm height give it visual presence without dominating a standard ceiling, and the chain length is adjustable on installation to set the basket roughly 700-800mm above a dining table or 2.1m above the floor in a hallway.

The frame is finished in a warm polished gold that pairs comfortably with both traditional interiors and Art Deco-influenced contemporary schemes. Two layers of crystal define the silhouette: vertical prism drops around the outer rim catch direct light from the lamps, while the curved acrylic ribbons across the underside soften the lower profile and diffuse light downwards. Six 40W maximum E14 candle bulbs are required and are sold separately.

What bulbs does the Murano take?

The chandelier takes six E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, rated up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this fitting with warm-white 4-6W LED candle bulbs at 2700K to mimic traditional incandescent light without exceeding the wattage rating.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself has no integrated electronics, so dimming is determined by the bulbs chosen. Pair dimmable LED candle bulbs with a compatible LED dimmer switch to vary the output. Standard halogen E14 candle bulbs are dimmable on most trailing-edge dimmers.

What ceiling height is needed?

The Murano is 55cm tall on the basket plus chain and canopy. It suits ceiling heights from 2.6m upwards in living and dining rooms. Over a dining table the basket typically sits 700-800mm above the surface; the chain can be shortened on installation if needed.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch the fitting off and allow bulbs to cool fully. Dust the crystals and acrylic ribbons with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For heavier residue, a barely-damp cloth with diluted glass cleaner can be used on the prism drops, but avoid spraying any liquid directly onto the fitting or letting moisture reach the lamp holders.
