Description

The Murano is a 6 light crystal chandelier with a polished chrome frame, measuring 500mm in diameter and 550mm in height. Long faceted crystal rods hang from the upper rim and curve inward in draped swags across the lower body, forming a basket-shaped silhouette. Six E14 candle bulbs sit inside the frame (sold separately, 40W maximum each) and refract through the crystal rods to throw scattered light outward across the room.

Hung from a chrome chain and matching ceiling canopy, the chandelier suits dining rooms, formal living rooms and stairwell landings with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. Above a dining table the underside of the chandelier typically sits 700-800mm above the table surface, putting the bulbs at eye level when seated and the crystal swags within a comfortable sightline. The chain length can be shortened on installation to suit lower ceilings.

The chrome frame is built from a hexagonal upper ring with internal cross-bracing that supports both the bulb holders and the crystal hangings. Each long crystal rod is hooked individually, so pieces can be removed for cleaning or replaced if damaged without dismantling the fitting. The 6 x 40W E14 capacity gives a combined maximum draw of 240W on incandescent or halogen candle bulbs, and considerably less when paired with E14 LED candles in the 4-6W range.
