Description

The Mural is a 1.8m LED floor lamp built from two intersecting rectangular frames finished in matt black, each containing an integrated 24W LED strip running the full length of the frame. The 48W combined output delivers 3840 lumens at 3000K through the open frames, creating a linear glow that outlines the geometry of the lamp rather than projecting from a single point source.

Designed for contemporary living rooms, lounges and open-plan areas with ceiling heights of 2.5m or higher, the Mural provides ambient rather than task lighting. The two frames intersect at offset heights. The taller frame reaches 1.8m while the shorter nested frame sits at approximately 1m, giving depth and layering to the structure. The inline floor dimmer on the power cable allows output to be adjusted from full brightness for social settings down to low-level accent lighting for evenings.

The matt black finish on the metal frames absorbs surrounding light during the day, making the lamp read as a dark architectural line against walls or in corners. When lit, the contrast between the black frame and the warm LED glow inside defines the rectangular edges sharply. The rectangular footprint measures 230mm x 120mm, and the 5.5kg weight keeps the lamp stable on carpet or hard floors without additional anchoring. How is the Mural dimmed?

The lamp includes an inline floor dimmer on the power cable. No wall dimmer or smart control is required. Brightness is adjusted by rotating or sliding the control on the cable itself.

What type of light does it provide?

The Mural provides ambient light rather than task lighting. The 60° beam angle directs light outward and upward from the frames, functioning as wall wash and ceiling bounce rather than direct downward illumination. The 3840lm output at 3000K gives warm ambient fill to a room of 20-30m².

Can the LED be replaced?

The LED strips are integrated into the frame structure and are not user-replaceable. The LEDs are rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, which at 4 hours per day equates to around 17 years before noticeable degradation.

Does it need to be anchored to the wall?

No. The 5.5kg weight and rectangular 230mm x 120mm footprint provide sufficient stability on carpet and hard floors without wall anchoring. Keep the lamp away from high-traffic areas where it could be knocked.
