The Mural is a 700mm × 600mm semi-flush ceiling light built from three interlocking rectangular frames in matt white metal, each housing an integrated LED strip along its inner edge. The frames overlap at different angles around a central mounting plate, creating a geometric composition that projects 190mm from the ceiling. The combined 48W LED output produces 3840lm at 3000K warm white, distributed through a 60° beam angle that casts soft halo light from the frame edges and illuminates both the ceiling surface and the space below.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and multifunctional spaces with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above, the Mural works as primary lighting in rooms up to 18-20m² or as feature lighting in larger spaces paired with secondary sources. The semi-flush format keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while the angular frames add visual depth without the drop of a pendant. The dimmable function requires a compatible LED dimmer on the lighting circuit, allowing output to be reduced from full 3840lm brightness down to ambient levels for evening use.

The matt white finish diffuses reflections and integrates cleanly into light-toned contemporary interiors, Scandi schemes, and rooms with white or pale grey ceilings where the fitting reads as an architectural detail rather than a contrasting object. The three-frame geometry appears different from various angles in the room, so the visual composition shifts depending on viewing position. Is the Mural dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch on the lighting circuit. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model — trailing-edge dimmers designed for LED loads typically work best. The fitting itself does not include a dimmer.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 190mm projection from ceiling to base of the fitting means it works best in rooms with 2.3m or higher ceilings. In 2.4m-height rooms the lowest edge of the frames sits at approximately 2.21m, providing clearance for typical movement underneath.

How is it installed?

The central mounting plate fixes to the ceiling via a backplate that must be secured to a joist or solid structural point — the 2.2kg weight and 700mm span make plasterboard-only fixings unsuitable. The geometric frames attach to the central plate after the electrical connection is made.
