Description

This round jewellery box gives Mum a neat, zipped home for her rings, earrings and small favourite pieces. The cream lid carries her name in gold script, with the words "a place to keep your precious things" printed beside it. Beneath sits a sweet scene of a little figure on a swing below a gold crescent moon, with a soft grey cloud and a scattering of tiny gold stars and hearts. It measures 8.9cm across and 4.4cm deep, so it sits comfortably in the palm of the hand, and the underside is plain cream.

It makes a thoughtful gift for Mum, ready to sit on her dressing table or bedside table where her everyday jewellery is always to hand. Unzip it and the lid opens to a small mirror, with a soft gathered pocket beneath for a fine chain or a pair of earrings. In the base, a row of ring rolls sits beside little divided compartments for studs, bracelets and the odd hair clip, so pieces stay apart and nothing goes astray. Because it zips shut and has a looped wrist strap, it also slips easily into a handbag or weekend bag when she is away from home.
