Description

Mr Fox is a modern rug with a cheerful, graphic design: white foxes, each with a black nose and eye and a long, brushy tail, stand on fine white lines across a warm yellow ground. The yellow has a gently mottled look rather than a flat block of colour, and a wavy pale green border frames it, finished with a darker green edge. This yellow and white colourway is digitally printed on 100% polyester, and we think it sits happily in a Scandinavian or modern scheme.

In a living room, the 152 by 230cm and 185 by 290cm sizes are generous enough to lie in front of a sofa, with the foxes running across the floor where everyone can enjoy them. The 120 by 170cm size suits a smaller seating area, and the 76 by 150cm rug brightens a quieter corner. For a hallway we offer a 61 by 230cm runner, which carries the foxes in a line along a long, narrow floor and gives a bright welcome at the front door.

The rug is washable, which makes it a sensible pick for a busy hallway or a well-used living room where spills and muddy shoes are part of everyday life. It also contains recycled materials, worth knowing if that weighs in your choice. Before you settle on a size, measure the floor and mark out the shape with masking tape, so you can see how the rug will sit in the room.
