The Moriscote is an LED flush ceiling light that pairs two offset bronze bars with a black base and three black spotlights. Each bar carries a slim line of light along its lower edge, and the spotlights are slender cylinders you can angle towards whatever needs it most. It measures 120cm long, 15cm wide and 15cm high, with a body of steel and aluminium. The light source is integrated LED with a rated output of 110lm, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms, away from bathrooms and steam.

Because it runs to 120cm, it suits a ceiling that needs light across a good stretch: above a kitchen island, along a dining table, the length of a living room or over a desk in a home office. The bars give a general wash of light while the spotlights can be turned towards a worktop, a picture or a favourite chair, so one fitting does two jobs.
