Description

The Montefio 2 is a glass 17 light pendant that hangs seventeen clear glass globes on cords of different lengths from a round chrome ceiling plate, so the lights fall in a loose cascade rather than a single tier. The body is steel with a chrome finish, and each globe is brilliant glass, clear with white detailing. It measures 78cm in diameter and 320cm tall overall. Every globe holds an integrated 5W LED giving 480 lumens at a warm 3000K, and the pendant is dimmable. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

With 320cm of overall height, this is a pendant for a tall space: a stairwell, a double-height hallway or a high-ceilinged landing, where a single light would leave the void looking empty. The staggered globes fill that height with points of light at different levels, so the space reads as lit all the way down the drop. The chrome plate and fine cords stay slim against the ceiling, letting the glass do the work. If you want a soft glow for the evening and more brightness during the day, dimming gives you both from the one fitting. We think it suits a home with a tall entrance that needs one fitting to answer the whole height.

The LEDs are built in and are not replaceable, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. There is no switch on the pendant itself; it is switched at the wall. As a hard-wired mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download so your electrician can read them ahead of the day. The packed weight is 19.68KG. Put it in a tall, dry space and it will give you seventeen soft points of warm light from one ceiling plate.
